SMOC is a non-profit organization, which is dedicated to obtaining and sharing information, resources, and advocating for working single mothers of color.

Advocacy organization for working single mothers of color that develops families and personal growth through educational and social programming in a safe environment.

What SMOC is saying about the new healthcare reform . . .

"This is another historical milestone, along with President Obama being in office. I am very excited about the expanded coverage for children. Many of the children in our community have pre-existing conditions, i.e. asthma, and other chronic illnesses. The extension for covering those children is huge." -KM
